Our Precious Gems Foundation was created for women and girls, in order to expand their vision, despite their situation and or upbringing. Our mentorship program is designed to; lessen the burdens, by providing resources and strategies through mentorship. The goal of our organization is to; instill motivation, build character and help guide mentees in unfolding their purpose, that will drive them to pursue their education and or career aspirations, all while gaining valuable insight on many topics for professional and self-care development.

Our mentor-ship program, is dedicated to providing consistent forms of services; by implementing programs in educational facilities, providing professional development seminars, mental health services and strategies, wealth and credit building literacy workshops, public and community health outreach initiatives and many other forms of character building opportunities.

Excellence in Our Education

Education comes first! Our Precious Gems foundation, is an advocate program for higher learning. With our Excelling in Education program, our goal is to be able to sponsor young women and girls currently attending and preparing to start school; by assisting with school fees, uniforms, transportation and basic educational needs to support the progress in completing their education. This program is the foundation of OPG, with a goal to assist with lowering Sierra Leone’s high drop out rate and illiteracy percentage among women and girls.

Health is Our Wealth

At OPG we believe overall health is the foundation to wealth. Our Health Equals Wealth program, is designed to promote physical and mental health that will assist with the wealth building initiative to rebuild our community. Through our mentorship program, mentees will have access to resources that will assist with educating them on healthy lifestyle choices such as mental health advisors, nutrition and physical health education as well as many other forms related to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This program has been particularly designed to assist with traumatizing experiences most women and girls in this community have faced, with life lessons and strategies to assist in the healing process as well.

Developing in Our Profession

At OPG, we seek to provide a platform for women and girls to not only accelerate; in their education, health and finances but also to prosper, in any career field of their choice. These fields in which salary wages have had a huge gap, our Professional Development program, is designed to align our mentees with mentors who are in their line of study and or career aspiration. This program is pivotal in our mission of building gems, by providing resources and opportunities to lessen the time-frame and learning lessons of obtaining the future they’ve envisioned for themselves.

Finance for Our Generations

Finance. Debt. Saving. Investing. Retirement…etc. The following topics are one that not only is a vague topic in our educational systems but lack in the homes of our communities. At OPG, our goal, is to educate and exemplify financial freedom and to introduce adolescence early, to building, obtaining and maintaining financial wealth. Our Financial Literacy Initiative program, will promote healthy money habits that will start the uncomfortable conversation of finances in our community. The goal of this program is to instill healthy money habits into these young women and girls, who will ultimately spread the knowledge in their homes.
