Our Mission
Our Precious Gems Foundation (OPG), is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit, mentor-ship organization. Our mission, is to provide unlimited opportunities, resources, guidance and structure to women and girls in undeserved communities. Our goal is to prepare them with a solid foundation, where they’re not restricted by economical barriers, have access to higher education, the opportunity to prevail in their career aspiration, and the resources for healthy lifestyle choices.
Our Vision
OPG Foundations, is located in the Washington, D.C metropolitan area of the United States, with our initial targeted population focused in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Our program is designed to reduce systematic barriers, that affect the progression of youth, in under-served communities. These barriers include and are not limited to; high drop out rates, illiteracy, early child hood labor, high pregnancy rates amongst adolescents, sex trafficking, molestation and many more unfortunate circumstances that limit and disrupt their progression.
